According to National Geographic, losing just one quart of water results in lost cognitive function. High sugar-based and carbonated drinks don’t hydrate, they actually deplete water to digest.
Drinking a lot of water is the solution! It’s a must for healthy living. One of my clients’ goals is drinking 64 ounces daily! This is consistent with the famous 8×8 Rule. Eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day.
Perhaps you carry a 16-ounce Gatorade bottle and drink four of these daily. Do what works for you, but whatever you do, make drinking water a HUGE priority!
